Exceptional value for families. Accommodations were ideal: three regular beds, two rooms, fridge, microwave, and breakfast included. The clean, spacious room exceeded expectations. Breakfast offered variety—yogurt, pastries, and Texas-shaped waffles. A family-friendly touch. staff interaction was lackluster; efficiency overshadowed warmth. Rooms require attention—damaged surfaces and cleanliness issues were apparent. Parking was ample, a definite plus. For the price, improvements are necessary: the bathtub handrail needs replacing, and blinds should block out parking lot lights. Rooms face the beach but feel too distant. Not the experience we hoped, yet it served its purpose. A mixed review, but worth considering for convenience.

I loved the clean and friendly atmosphere. The cozy bed made for the best sleep ever! Plus, enjoying my morning coffee on the unexpected balcony was the cherry on top.

I had a rough stay. The room was supposedly ocean view, but all I saw were glaring motel lights all night. Plus, the breakfast was a letdown—no eggs! Just sad waffles and stale pastries. Totally not worth it.

We were living the high life, felt like celebs! Private balconies for chill mornings, Texas waffles for breakfast, gym for post, party workout. Location was lit, vibes were awesome! 10/10 would visit again!
Would've been epic if there was an onsite nightclub for late, night turn, ups.

The hotel is just a short stroll of about 500 meters to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sand, while being close to must-see spots like Moody Gardens, the Lone Star Flight Museum, and several excellent dining options such as Waffle House and Tortuga Mexican Kitchen; plus, the room was spacious, comfortable, and well-kept, contributing to a relaxing experience. However, the complimentary breakfast could use more protein options.

The room was modern and very clean. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the noise level was a concern; heavy footsteps from the room above us disrupted our rest late into the night. Temperature control in the room was adequate, but the shower pressure was lacking. I appreciated the Texas-shaped waffles at breakfast, which was a fun touch. Unfortunately, there were issues with the USB charger and light on the balcony. The location was convenient, near restaurants and a Walmart, but the pool area could use a little more attention.

Comfortable beds made for restful nights, and the suite layout was perfect for me and my three teens. The staff was friendly, and the cleaning team, who spoke Spanish, was particularly sweet. Waking up to a partial ocean view from the balcony was lovely. the room had cleanliness issues—dirty sheets on a chair and some hair remained. Breakfast could use a boost; more nutritious options would be welcome. With convenient laundry facilities and quick access to the cruise port, it’s family-friendly, but attention to detail is definitely needed.

The balcony offers a nice spot to catch some fresh air. The mini fridge and microwave make snacking a breeze, plus the toiletries are a pleasant surprise.

The hotel was chosen solely for its proximity to Galveston Beach, and we were pleasantly surprised by the free wifi throughout the property. , the variety of nearby restaurants, shops, and take-away joints within an easy walking distance was definitely convenient.
Uncomfortable beds, no breakfast, limited pool access, and lack of information about local events.

the room smelled like wet dog, and we had to open the patio door to air it out. the staff wouldn’t help with extra bedding for the pull-out couch.

Upon checking into the Baymont, we found the room to be well, decorated and clean. I appreciated the ironing facilities provided, as I always like to ensure my clothes are wrinkle, free. The heating and air conditioning worked well, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. One thing that stood out was the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room. As a coffee lover, I missed having the option to brew a fresh cup in the mornings. there was no dining table or sitting area in the room, which would have been nice for relaxing or enjoying a meal. The bathroom was basic but clean, with a standard bathtub and free toiletries provided. I did find the lack of extra amenities like a hairdryer or bathrobe a bit disappointing. The room was equipped with an AM/FM alarm clock and a flat, screen TV, which was a nice touch for entertainment options. The carpeted floor was clean and added a cozy feel to the room. Housekeeping did a decent job, but I noticed that some areas were missed during our stay. It would have been nice to have more thorough cleaning, especially considering the high standards I expect from a hotel. the Baymont provided a comfortable stay with some room for improvement in terms of in, room amenities and housekeeping services. If these aspects were addressed, it could at the hotel.

the hotel is clean and well maintained. it's close to the beach and has plenty of parking. they did a great job with breakfast. the staff - especially the maid service - were very helpful and friendly.

Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The convenient location near the beach allowed us to enjoy our stay without any inconvenience. We felt welcome and had a pleasant experience. The pool area was well maintained. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

My child and I were unfairly kicked out of the hotel within 14 hours, charged an extra $200 for a cleaning fee, and accused of damage we didn't cause. This experience left a terrible impression, tarnished by the rude treatment we received.

We had a great time at this Galveston hotel, with spacious rooms and all the amenities we needed, including a coffee pot, hairdryer, iron, refrigerator, and microwave. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the hotel was always clean. We were thrilled that we could reserve a room for two nights on the weekend. The location was perfect, right next to the beach and with plenty of food and amenities nearby. We also enjoyed the comfort of the bed and the overall cleanliness of the room.
Housekeeping could have been better, especially when it came to vacuuming the carpets. We found peanut shells on the floor that weren't cleaned until two days later, and the room was only made up after 4 pm one day.

we had a great experience at Baymont. the bed was super comfy and the location was perfect for my daughter's dance competition at moody gardens. the hotel is right across the beach, yet we never heard any traffic noise. the room amenities were impressive for the price, and everything was impeccably clean. we had a nice stay, and would definitely book here again in the future.
